			 Hi guys i know i have asked many dumb question before but her i go with another one......... how much better is ddr ram over pc133 ram? if i can get 512 of pc133 is it as good as 256 of ddr?  i found 512 of pc133 for $36 and 256 of ddr for $72. i can use either being that i havent built the computer yet. the memory is what is puzzling me. depends on what memory depends on what board i get. thanks guys! |

				 | Get a board that supports DDR.  If you do anything intense, you'd be crazy not to go with 512 if you're building a new box.  If you have to, I'd still get 256 DDR.  Get QUALITY ram also.  Finding the cheapest stick of ddr you can will get you nowhere fast.

				 | Get DDR.  It has nothing to do with amoutn of RAM.  DDR has a MUCH higher bandwith.  I hit about 3GB/s with my board. I use GEiL. Its been great so far. And it has a pretty copper heat spreader.
