				 | When I setup dual display (with 2 monitors) they had to be the same size. I have the Dual Display video card that allows for 2 monitors to be hooked up. Im not sure why yours would be black and white though.. The only thing I could suggest is... RTFM! JFWY

				 | i'm not sure but to have the correct display on tv you gotta be at 640X480 16 bit resolution. at least that's how it was on my old ATI card. and no you don't have to have the same resolution in both of the monitors if u are using 2 different video cards.

				 | What card(s) are you using? I know the TV out on some cards has to be set to a low res & bit depth.

				 | my ati has to be at 800X600 (color settings don't matter) and if it's at 1024X720 then it only shows 800X600 pixels and when you push the mouse to the edge it moves to the rest of the screen. The black and white I have NO idea though. mine either worked or was off by a mile. (ie the screen didn't line up and the colors were all sorts of shot that was driver issues and fine tuning the settings in the advanced display options.) good luck computing on your tv rocks

				 | I never had the duel feature (Geforce 2 MX 400 w/tv out)...or didn't know about. I always used either/or...but never both. Are you running the latest detonators, or specific drivers for the card? I remember my biggest problem was with detonators for some weird reason. When I found drivers that fit my card right (It's made by ABIT, and I was using Nvidia's detonators.) Try getting the drivers made by the company who makes the plateform....not the chip. |
