Good luck with the interview. What position are you going for? Sales? Repair? Either way I'm sure you'll nail it

haha good ol CC. Yup..I work there..been working there for a year now and I'm now getting moved from merchandising (games, movies, music, telephone, printers) to Entertainment (BIG ass tvs and nice ass audio) what departments are you probably going to work?
once your probation period is up you'll have access to some nice audio discounts from harmon/Kardon and PolkAudio. the system that's in my car came from the accomodations deals with CC. I Got two 12" Infinity Kappa Perfects with dual-voice coils. I paid about $200 for together when they are retailed for over $400 each and lemme tell you these subs are amazing. You will also be able to get ahold of some Polkaudio shit for cheap, like carbon series amps and whatnot but there are limitations like you can only buy so many a year. but there's more accomodations like MonsterCable and shit like that. and with the audio that also include home audio as well, get a nice theater system for relatively cheap considering those Polk home speakers sound amazing. anyways man good luck with the interview, you should enjoy it (depending on what the management is like) I for one love my job specially since i should be getting a dollar raise if i get moved to entertainment. |

There's normally; Entertainment, Technology (Computers/cameras), Merchandising, Customer Service Associate, 12volt (car audio) and roadshop (car audio installers). they just added the "IQ Crew" which are computer techs that install and what not for customers. but those are the basic positions, when you do the interview the interviewer will determine where you'll be going and if you show interest in a certain department it wouldnt hurt either. Merchandising is the least demanding

I worked in Roadshop for 1.5 years and I couldn't stand it there. I quit about 1-2 months ago.

Is it just me, or do those roadshop guys always come off as dicks (no offense a96710)? I always hated dealing with the guys at the CC near my house. On the other hand...they did a kick ass job. Much MUCH better than Best Buy.

Well, i think the interview went alright...If they call back, i'll have to go to a second interview with a sales manager. So i guess i'll be waiting in limbo until they call...

Nice. I wouldn't mind working at a store like that if one existed around here. *sigh*
