The only T-series turbo I would purchase would be the ones by either Turbonetics or Garrett. Watch out! SS Autochrome and Stone Racing makes them too. Some of their turbos are really unreliable. I presonally witnessed/installed 2 of the trubos that somebody bought from them made some weird noises during break in period. We opened the compressor housing and found out that the compressor wheel was rubbing against the housing. It was a very tricky discovery cuz the wheels are fine, clearance wise, each time we finger spin it. The noise/rubbing occurs only under load when the turbo is supposed to be "compressing" air. Our conclusion was that the materias they used on the compressor wheel are so cheap that it couldnt withstand the heat it produces during the compression phase. So it expands causing the leading edge of the wheels to rub against the housing........
