Cookies
Well, I'm about ready to go bake some homemade cookies for our "Cookie Exchange and Competetion" tomorrow at work, and I was just wondering what everybodies' favorite Christmas cookie is.....Too bad I'll half the dough before I even bake the damn things....
I'd have to say my favorite Christmas cookies are Sugar cookies and peanut blossoms (the pb cookies with Hershey's Kisses stuck in the top of them...and rolled in colored sugar mmmmmm....)

Hahaha.... all the geeks (myself included) were thinking of the same type of computer-related cookies...
As for the edible ones, those peanut butter blossoms kick butt. They are some of my favorites - they're equally as good if you place a small peanut butter cup instead of the hershey's kiss in the middle. Feel free to mail me some cookies... yummm..... |

dude...I love the recipe my mom has for no bake fridge cookies...they're basically a big wad of chocolate...it's great...
and you guys should know me by now....I really don't know all that much about computers, so why would I talk about computer cookies??? although yes the HS cookies are quite nice so I don't always have to sign in. But then the 1 time I do I can never remember my password Oh...and I'm now making more cookies with my grandma on Saturday. Her cookies are gonna put mine to shame. I can't wait!!!!

Straight up raw cookie dough... oh ya...
And you can still get the silver bb's at stop and shop. there in the cake/dessert section... we used to steal them and eat whole containers of them... I don't think they're coated in anything bad though.

I know they're not holiday cookies, but my favs are chocolate chip, snickerdoodles, and molasses sugar cookies. Mmmmmmm good. Maybe I will make some cookies when I go home for the holidays........
Ya gotta make 'em from scratch, though, I'm not a huge fan of store-bought cookies. b |

Chris, do you mean no bake cookies?
Heres a recipe: No Bake Cookies Source: baycity99 ½ stick of margarine 1 cup of Sugar 1/3 cup of milk 2 Tablespoons Spartan Cocoa ¼ cup Peanut Butter ½ teaspoon of Vanilla 1-1/2 cups of Spartan quick oats In a large microwave-safe bowl melt Margarine. Stir in cocoa, sugar, and milk until blended well, Microwave on high for 2 minutes (mixture should boil). Remove from Microwave and stir in vanilla and peanut butter until blended. Stir in Oats. * Place by rounded tablespoons on waxed paper until set Make about 16 cookies *Since Microwave oven vary you may need to stir in an extra handful of oats if mixture seem to be too loose. Cookies set if mixture is thicker. There are a lot of different types of no bake cookies, I like the chocolate ones!

Can you cook the oat meal in the microwave? If so I wouldnt see the difference. Try it and see how it turns out.

Because it was funny. And it somehow got thrown into a discussion about food high in carbs way back when too. Ok, ok...I'll stop. Ok, I might be feeling a little weird from last night still but that's nice how you all helped Chris with the cookies. |
