need some HELP!!!
Something is wrong with my driver side front wheel.
When i drive, that side of my car emmits a skweeking sound. When i stoped to look at the problem, i could smell a burning odor coming from that wheel. I popped the hood and did not smell anything, so the problem must be coming from the wheel area. The lug nuts on that wheel were extremely hot, and so was the rest of the wheel. you guys have any idea??? |

did u notice the car pulling left ? it might be the brake caliper getting stuck and having the pads rub the rotor causing the heat. happened to me

Ya it sounds like a siezed or sticking caliper.. especially if the lugs are noticably hotter than any others.
could also just be a loose pad or shim.

THats what it is, i got up at 7am to get my car to the shop, and my buddy said it was a siezed caliper - this all works out, since i was planning to get new calipers and pads after easter - i just have to do it sooner. |
