well
with the money left over from the bad experience i just had(buying a tiburon) i am buying a a 92 hatch. its a vx. my question is what is the difference between a vx, dx, ex, and so on?
if it is only engine stuff, doesn't matter, because my girl is giving me her engine and turbo swap when she gets her new car, just as long as the i put the vx engine in her car(she has a gsr turbo motor, but she isbn't giving me the turbo stuff, just eh swap, she is selling the turbo and other goodies to one her friends to help as a DP on the new car) she just doesn't know what she is going to get. she is from a wealthy family, and she is thinking about getting an r32, or a vr6.

I think the VX has the weak motor...like 92hp or something. But since you're swappin, no big deal. I'm not sure if it's one of the optionless ones or not.

vx is prewired for vtec through all years (but all 92 civics were anyways)
vx gets better fuel economy through its engine, weight, and its neat little air deflector under the rear bumper |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the VX the lightest of the bunch. This usually makes it a perfect candidate for engine swaps.

Since your swapping, there's not much else to know. My cousin has a VX. The worst part is finding parts for that engine. Its kind of like an early HX. Odd ball stuff on it (like a pre-cat on the headers).
The wheels are VERY lightweight. 13"... Tiny, but light.

Gross Vehicle Weight Rating = Car that is loaded as much as it can handle + the car's actual weight.. Those are the numbers it'll say in your doorjam, but that's not the actual weight of the car. So say your car weighs 2000 pounds, and can handle 1000 pounds of whatever inside of it, the GVWR is 3000 pounds
