What do the Ladies Drive?
So I thought since we're here on a forum pertaining cars, we should talk about cars once in awhile. What do all of the ladies drive or have as a project car? List your rides, the mods and pics if you like.

lol, I really like the honesty about the bumper. It's usually "oh my bumper is falling off because I smoked an LT1 going about 120..over a ramp!"
Anyhow, do you plan on doing a motor swap or are you leaning towards a show car? I asked you a few mins ago in another thread, but I might as well ask here..where in OR are you located?

Since I haven't already, I just wanted to say hi to MissJDM and welcome to HST. I don't get on here that much anymore, but I'll post every now and then. But sticking with topic....I drive a '99 Mitsubishi Eclipse which I hate and have had more problems with than I'd like to mention. Hopefully sometime soon I'll get a decent paying job so that I can get rid of my stupid car and get myself something else, say a BMW or Lexus would be nice.

Thanks, Anna [I do my share of stalking..jk..jk..] I'm in Southern Oregon, Medford/Grants Pass area. I was actually just in Portland the other day to get my boyfriend some bigger injectors. I've been kind of on the search for female racers in Oregon, I haven't figured out why yet, but it suonds cool :-). Anyway, the b18c1 is an awesome platform to start on, N/A or boosted. Good luck with that!

Well, I have a 94 4dr GSR. I purchased her last July while she was in a mess from some major crackhead. The trunk was smashed, the hood was dented with fake hoodpins. The interior had that fake pleather wrap for the console and plastic pillars, the dash and door panels were painted white. Minus this RICE factor, it had battery acid all over it; like I said, the previous owner was a crackhead. The paint was baby blue and was nice I might add, until a month before I bought it, the crackhead was high and thought he'd repaint the car baby blue again. Needless to say, half of the car was baby blue still, but lump, kinda like moldy milk. The tail lights were OBD1 and aparently he was too ghetto to purachse OBD2 tails [all red] so.. here it goes, HE COLORED IT IN with RED MARKERS. Same goes with the dome light. They didn't have any front seats because he took his Sparcos out, he had harness so it didn't even come with STOCK seatbelts. So, that's the story of my car. I hope it amused you all as much as it amused in me some sick way [seeing how I bought the POS] Since then, I started to build a b20vtec with the help of my boyfriend. A few major mods: bored .020 over, blue printed, balanced, je 11.5:1 pistons, stock rods, RC 310cc. b16a head with JUN internals [springs, valves retainers, etc] but with skunk2 stage 2 cams..I couldn't afford to spend 1k+ for cams . I'm thinking about stage 3 though, but I think I'd have clearance problems. As for the JDM in me, my interior is from a JDM DB8..rear seats, carpet, center console, steering wheel, door panels, etc etc. I don't think I'll get the JDM recaros, not only for the money issue, but the USDM would match perfectly with the JDMrears. Help: I need help putting in the JDM shift console in my car, it's not fitting proper;y because of the way the edge turns the opposite way [since I obviously have a LHD car]. Pictures, I don't have pictures as a whole yet since I'm not finished with the project [need new ignition and axles] as well as a different tranny. I do have pictures of the motor and the interior/exterior so far. I'll post them when I get back on my computer since I'm in the middle of moving. There's my story.

I just attempted to post a picture with the last post but it says that it's too large. I still don't know how to make it smaller.

Here is a picture of the rear seats after we threw out the POS seats..these are from a JDM DB8. Taken..awhile ago before the door panels were put in. I took out the harnesses though...I bought some Red SPARCO 5pt harnesses for the front so the rears would look kinda outta place =]

"project" is my 90 crx dx, which is becoming a jdm-spec glasstop sir. she's slowly getting there :P |

I haven't been on in a few days, I thought I was gonna have withdrawals. Anyhow, she hasn't been dyno'd yet, I need a new ignition and since I'm driving a different car, I thought I'd do a tranny swap.. this LS tranny isn't working with me. =/ And yes, it's all motor. As for the new seats, would I say theyre aftermarket? It's stock in Japan..oh, I keep forgettin I'm not really JDM.. loser. =D
Have you guys ever heard of people saying they ride in the passenger side to get a feel of a RHD car? Well, I can now say that i've witnessed it being done! This guy in his EK9 was so illy. =).

He was laughing and squirming around in the passenger seat as the car was in motion. I was in a LX470 so I can easily look down into their car, he was shifting as well, but the girl in the drivers seats [possibly a gf] had her hand on the shift knowb as well. she was doing the driving. it's hard to explain, I suppose, but it was ...funny.
BTW, why the hell do the ladies not talka bout their cars on here?

Holy crap...thats a lot needed to get in! Guess I better get to work on earning those points...
Well, I cant really buy the seats right now, so dont worry about it. After the winter tires I bought I need to start saving again... The whole forest-cow incident kinda screwed me up for awhile. |

Not personally, no. I've only ever seen 1 itr (py) locally. Hondas, in general, are pretty rare in the motor city area.
