I hate asshole dog owners!

Today I took my little tiny puppy(2months) downtown for a parade and afterwards we were about to cross the road when this guy walks by with his dog a husky the size of me! anyway i was about to pick my puppy up when he said dont worry hes a really nice dog, the guy seemed nice so my puppy went to sniff his dog, then before i could even blink my puppy's head was in its mouth! nothing like that ever happened to me i freaked out i went to try to get my puppy and the guy got his dog off (I think he was afraid his dog would bite me then he'd really be screwed). So he says hell call the vet and tell them we're coming but all i can think about is getting her there because she is bleeding all over and my car was over by my brothers so he went to track the guy down. The vet gave her some morphine &antibiotics and shes doing ok now. My brother found out this guy has tried to sick his dog on other peoples puppys too like he gets some sick pleasure out of it. Also the guy was drunk driving and hit and killed a police officer he never even got put in jail. Anyways i hate this guy so much, dogs like his should NOT be allowed to walk downmain streets they could kill someone's child!
I'll put a pic of my pup up later, its a spot on her neck and in her mouth.

That sucks! I had a similar incident happen a few weeks ago. I have an english bulldog named xena...I was at the local dog park and this couple approach my wifey and I...They were complimenting my dog's coat and shit, when their mutt snapped at my dog...I know dogs play but this shit was out of anger...I paid over $1K for my dog and I won't let a fuking mutt hurt her...I told the guy to pull his dog back , he replied.."oh, they are just playing," his mutt (pitbull and sumothashit) snapped again,,this time my dog squealed...I kicked the shit out this couples dog and told him to back off...They called the cops and they wanted to press charges, but then their dog snapped at the cop..Works for me...Anyways, find this guy...If it is true of what your friend says you need to do something...

Though of the Day!!!!
If you have crazy kids, let alone crazy ass dogs...leave them at home...

I was selling chocolate door to door one time for ymca basketball way back in the day, I was like 8...and the guys crazy ass huskey chases me down, tackles me and bites my arm and starts shaking me. They dude got it off me but I didn't know any better about being able to press charges and what not. Then another time I was sledding and this crazy ass dog chased me down and just started shaking me like a rag doll until this dude saw it happening and ran and beat the dog until it let go. Then it came back and attacked my bro so I jumped on the f*cking mutt and beat its ass. I was about 10 when this one happened.

Man...that sucks Anna. When we were living in Houston there was a stray pitbull roaming the neighborhood. We called animal control and they said they'd give us a cage to trap it but they wouldn't come and outright catch it. One day I hear my dog yelp and I went outside to see this thing clamped onto my dog. I grabbed a pick axe and knocked the blade part off so I had this big wooden stick. My neighbor also saw it happening and grabbed an aluminum bat and helped me. We beat the holy hell out of that dog until it let go...which was when it was unconscious. It was still alive, but we cracked it's skull and broke it's jaw. At first I felt terrivle, but then realized it had almost killed my dog. In hindsight I wish I'd have left the blade on the pick axe. I love animals and all...but that dog was just dangerous.

My brother had a pitt too. She was the sweetest thing but he had trained her too. It was kinda wierd but funny when I came over one day to see her just dangling from an old tire made up like a tire swing. She used to run at it, clamp on and just swing until she stopped, then she'd wiggle it get it moving again. I've got a Boxer mix and a Rott mix right now. I used to have a wolf hybrid (hense the username) but she passed on a few years ago. Both pitts and rotts have potential to be dangerous but tell people you have a wolf hybrid and they automatically run for the hills. All large dogs have potential to be dangerous, especially certain breeds but it's all how you raise them that makes the difference. I personally don't care for small dogs myself. I like to go on long walks through a wildlife trail, go camping out in the boonies and mostly live by myself. I just don't feel protected enough when considering a small dog or even a cat. What good are they if something happens? Throw the small dog/cat at them?? I like big, lovable, kissy, cuddly, protective dogs that got my back, which probably explains the type of men I've gone out with lately. Ahh, to find a man again.........heaven. *sigh*

Johnae, I feel the same way but there are select small dogs I like but to me most are what I like to refer to as "punt dogs" (I'd rather punt it into the next city) I'd take a German Shepard, Rotti, or something similar then have a cat (tho if I had a gf/wife who loves cats I'd put up with em) or small dog but I also hate when people hate a certain type of dog because of the 10% or less that ruin their reputation (tho I was really unsure about a Pit Bull that came in when I interned at a vet hospital but then I had never been near one before let alone touched one and the dog was an "angel" from the few minutes I was with/near it, it never barked, snarled etc like the deval(sp?) dogs they are made out to be)

My brother put it to me like this once and I really think it applys. He said that all dogs are like guns but it depends on how that dog was raised. (bear with me here) Pitts have the potential like shotguns, big hole, Rotts are like Glocks, little hole in big hole out, German Shepherds are like Uzi's, they can do alot of damage in a short amount of time, etc, etc. It really got me thinking that maybe there is a relation as in to damage potential but also that he musta smoked a big one too before I came over that day.
