so im car less
yes folks. the prelude was in a wreck last night. it might be a complete loss. the bumper was shoved into the radator like no other. it had no bumper support because i was retard and thought i wouldnt hit anyone and took it out. but the people of iowa have once agian surprised me with their shitty driving. ill get pics.
what happened was this old dude slammed on his break for a yellow light. and the chick behind him who was 16 and freaking the fuck out hit her breaks and i hit her. i didnt have time to stop. i was going 5-7mph when i hit her. it just snowed and the roads were slick. my air bags didnt deploy so it may not be a totoal loss. ALSO I WASNT DRUNK. the chick i hit had no damage done to her car. but a paint scrape and a 2" crack in the bumper. but sence i had no bumper susport my car got FUCKED.

I once bought a buddy club bumper cover for my Civic many moons ago. Once I realized I had to take off my bumper I changed my mind and got rid of it.
Sorry to hear about your accident.

sorry about your accident. the bumper suppoer on my accord only weights 8 lbs and saved my radiator 2 times.

It wasn't that off the wall. The whole thought of removing the bumper for stupid body kits just seemed like a bad idea, for the very reason he may have totalled his car. Those bumpers do something.

If I were you I'd be exited that I found out how important bumper supports is by having my radiator cracked in a 5-10mph accident instead of having your engine implanted in your lap in a 60mph accident.
I got in an arguement with another user on here once over him removing it for weight savings... It's like there is some weight that you NEED. Hell why not just drill lots of 3" holes in your frame... enough of them and you'll be LW as hell.
