it is legal?
I live in CA and i was planning on installing an underbody light for Civic, but I was wondering if it legal in CA for street use. Does it worth the money?

As from what I've understood they are Illegal in CA to run on the streeets. If you were sitting in a parking lot it would be cool but not while driving. It's considered to be a distraction for other drivers on the road...
I hope this might help... |

general rule is no its not streetlegal, because it is a distraction, same as if you were driving all the time with your dome light on. but if you take the time and wire it to a switch and not ghetto rigg it to the ignition (you know some people who rig their fog light to always be on when the ignition switch is unlocked) you should be fine.
