ad-aware is awesome!

just in case you haven't heard about it or have it, ad-aware is a program that will scan your computer for third-party software that promotes pop-ups and kazaa-like advertising thingies....

Zone alarm - keeps the crap out

Cookie wall - manages kookies (free from analog x)

and

Adaware - nukes the rest

hmmm spybot just deleted my friends winsock.dll didn't know that was possible format/reinstall lol

lol, it did it to me once too, biut the file was so infected with adware that no stopper could remove it. a sfc command will fix it. just make sure you delete the file from quarantine
