Boosted LS motor...

Whats the max psi on stock LS motor?

well personally on a stock LS I proabably wouldn't go over like 8 psi....I'm sure someone has more hard facts but that would be my guess right off hand...

yea, i was kinda wondering tho when someone told me you can boost 15 on a stock LS...thats why i asked here, i was confused..

this low compression motor will handle 12 psi on stock safely...

kool...so what would that blaze on the quarter in a civic hatch? say a drag turbo kit boosting 12 in a hatchy....i won't list all the specifics, but around what would if do in the quarter?

Just make sure you get some decent fuel management. A friend just blew up his LS motor 2 weekends ago while running 12-14 PSI on a 12:1 FMU. He ran 12.7 tho.....he he he...
