Ignition setup help
I wanna upgrade my ignition but i have a weird coil. it looks something like in the picture below. What module shall i get. i wanna go MSD all the way. I had in mind the 5 and 6 series ignition control module. i don't wanna spend a lot of money on it, and also i don't want to upgrade the engine further, other than I/H/E

MSD is some good ish. I'm gonna put some on my truck eventually...
Anyway, if I knew where the all the wires in that 4 pin connector went to I could help ya out more. But you may want to call them mofo's up and see if the MSD Sport Compact Ignition would work. Summit doesn't have it in their catalog, but Jegs does. The Jegs part # is 121-6300 or with Rev control 121-6320. If the SCI will not work. You can throw in the MSD Stacker ignition. It just piggybacks the existing ignition and gets you more power out of it. It claims that you "connect it to your vehicle's wiring without disconnecting anything." |
