Visonik

Well in some of these posts i see that some of you are either planning on, or have bought various Visonik components for your car stereo's. Well let me just put it this way. i used to sell them. Well actually i used to work at a store that sold them. I personally refused to sell them. After the 4th Visonik system that I sold came back to have warranty work done on it, I decided that they were no good. They make a 1400 watt amp. IMO 400 watts is overrating that amp. We had the Visonik 3 12" band pass box and we tried to hook up the Visonik 1400 watt amp up to it. The box is rated at 1600 watts peak. Good match right? Nope. We then hooked up a 400 watt Planet Audio amp to it and it sounded ten times as good. (I know what you are thinking. Why all the crappy products? Cheap owner) Basically what I am saying is Visonik amps are extremely over rated. Their speakers are half way decent. And i would never buy a Visonik head unit. EVER!!!!!! Now you do have to keep in mind that this is all "IN MY OPINION." But coming from a Visonik salesman, I would never put their stuff in my car. If you have already bought their stuff and you disagree with me, let me know. I am interested in seeing if anyone likes their stuff.

You're totally right.. I've only touched a few visonik components, but man were they crappy.. Strange thing is that, from the outside they look like high quality gear..
