gas
does anyone here run premium gas all the time on their civic i was just wondering if there is any difference on the amount of miles you get per tank, if you get like an extra 1/4 of a horsepower, or is it just about the same as regular.

I use midgrade...always have. But b16s are premium only...they run like shi-at if regs put it em
I dont think there is gonna be a big difference in power on a d16 from 87 to 91 octane though...its not a far enough gap for that motor. It will keep your engine cleaner, and the injectors too, by using 91 (or 94 if you live on the east side (YAY Sunoco)) |

Why would higher octane gas keep your engine cleaner? Or do you just mean that mfg put more additives in the "premium" product?
91 doesn't combust as easily as 87, so gas mileage would go down a little. |
