Engine Swap
If i want to swap in a b16 or b18 into a 92-95 civic is all the wiring just plug in the new ecu to the adaptor or do i have to rewire everything because it is a new engine with an older car. Thanks

no, i'm pretty sure you'll need to do a full swap. Your going from a D series engine to a B, nothing is compatible (though I've heard AC is compat with an adapter bracket). So no, I do not think your ECU will work. If youre going with a b18, see if you can find one in an integra at the junkyard. This way, you can strip out all the wiring and everything you need, and it'll be cheaper anyway (my jy will sell me a full b18 swap for 450)

I would reccomend the b16a2 into your car. It is meant for exactly the same years. It will go in without too much hassle. You will need the B series mounts which we sell for $350 but most stuff will stay the same and most stuff that needs to change will be included in the swap. Check us out at www.streetstyleracing.com. Or drop me an e-mail and I will answer any Q's you might have.

^^^ don't listen to this guy. Any B series motor is exactly the same in the difficulty in putting it in a 5th Gen. Also, the mounts you need SHOULD come with the swap. This guy is just trying to make money, don't listen to him.
