Lamin-x film
Ok...I cant decide if I want to do it or not.
ek4 fogs are naturally yellow glass, the sedan ej's are just clear (like mine) Should I make mine yellow using film? What do you think? Right now, Im just using yellow bulbs, but there so much more expensive than the clear h3s (I know, because I just replaced the damn things) |

damn, that shit costs as much as the entire fog kit!
Yeah, yellow light is best for wet conditions because it doesnt bounce around like blue and white lights, making it best suited for fog use (not driving lights). Lots of cars in Europe have yellow fogs as standard, and its the same reason why in racing, lights are yellow - definition |

little science lesson...
red colors (and variations there of) have longer wavelengths then white light and blue light. therefore colors such as red, yellow, orange generally have a better seeing distance in most conditions. thus a reason factory bulbs (no HID) are more of a yellowish/amberish hue and not true white Blue lights (therefore blue bulbs) have the shortest wavelength of all the colors in the spectrum. short wavelength = shorter distance of illumination. warm colors = better lighting cool colors = shitty for lighting |

Maybe in poor weather, but then if that's true why does every asshole with HID bulbs blind me from a mile away (literally)?

I think its the other way around
warm for definition cool for distance HID blinds everyone because its too damn high a wattage and the asses have them aimed directly into your eyes. I swear, HID in an suv is the dumbest thing ever Im kinda sick of buying expensive bulbs. Like I paid $40+ for the piaa yellows and then another like $30 or something for the hella yellow star h4 mains. Regular white h3's locally are $15-20. In the long run, I'll save money....long run... |

this is why I hate people with those blue bulbs. they don't work, sure they are brighter but they dont have the range that warmer bulbs have. HID are different tho. which is why I said "except for HID"
also have to keep in mine that HID's color is warped because of the projector |
