Ive said it before, and ill say it again. Go with a Thermal R&D classic catback exhaust. |

hmm...I'd say go with Apexi N1 or Tanabe racing medallion but then again it depends on how much money he has to spend...

well, its just a matter of tone preference - all catbacks are virtually the same in terms of flow characteristicts.

I've always wanted a 5Zigen Fireball, especially the titanium one. I have an Apex'i N1, sounds good, looks good, doesn't scrape. If your car is really low, look into one of the Greddy systems. I forgot which series it is, but they make one that is recessed up a little bit for more ground clearance, and make a good amount of hp.....18 to the wheels on a 2001 V6 Accord.

go with the Apexi N-1 style exhaust if you want a LOUD exhaust that yeilds good gains or RS*R AKA Skunk2 Megapower exhaust. Personally, I would go with the Thermal Research and Development exhaust, good gains and a nice, mellow, low pitched exhaust

i say GREDDY EVO...this will give you great ground clearance if you lower your car..

i don't really think there is "one" best catback system...it all depends on what the person is lookin' for....just thought i'd point out the obvious..

JIC magic makes some badass exhausts, in titanium too I personally don't like the Thermal system. A friend has it on his GS-R, and it sounds funny, and doesn't seem to have the quality I would expect. It also looks like some of the packing blows out if he's driving hard. About the header, DO NOT go with DC Sports. The fitment on them sucks, and the flanges start to rust very quickly. I had a bad exhaust leak using it on my GS-R. Go with Comptech, Apex'i, Skunk2, or something like that.
BTW, the Skunk2 Megapower/RS*R Invidia exhaust system is also nice. It's actually JDM too, but kind of Americanized. |

What Im really needing to know is if the exhaust kits for a 01 Civic Ex would fit my Lx ? I think it should but i dont want to just assume because they always separate Lx from Ex i dunno ?

NO!!!!DX uses a warm up style cat it's right off the manifold
where an ex is underneath the car.. 2 totally different systems ...straight from a honda tech cannot use the same headers because of this exact reason...u must order parts specificly for your lx chris
