What the eff!?! [tire]
ok so when i bought the lude, i got an alignment because one tire was fockered and then i thought everything was good to go..so i notice today when i pulled the car outta the garage that my driver's side front tire is VERY low....so i fill it up and notice something else...the entire inner edge of the tire is F**ked up! it looks like a big slit or something...check out the pics
the shop tha tdid the alignment BETTER fix this up! anyone know what caused it? i felt with my hand and didn't feel anything that would rub the tire. someone told me it might be very bad toe |

that could be because of a misaligned car, but if one tire sucked at the time of the alignament that will throw the whole alignament off. so i think you will just have to buy a new tire and do the alignament.

Thats what I was thinking. You may want to make sure your not rubbing on a control arm or something when your wheels are in full lock.

man that sux dood...at least you found out about it when you got home and not while you were driving!
A friend of mine who has a 240 SX Fux0red his cause of a shredded tire on the interstate...pretty much fucked his undercarriage over... I agree with everyone else, take it back to the shop and be like "sup with this shit?" |

damn that shit sux man. Yeah i agree with thermal that shit must of been rubbing on something. The camber would have to be way off for the tire to do that and you would of noticed it immediately.
