removing stock shift knob is done how?

OK so I'm a newb, whatcha gonna do about it?

well I can't see much of a way to go about removing the shift knob and boot
plus I'm afraid I'll break something cause I'm just notorious for breaking stuff
haha sorry for putting you all through this I'll get smarter as I go
......hopefully O_O

just unscrew the damn thing. it might bea bit harder in the begining and you won't break a damn thing.

Just pull the boot thing down and unscrew it.

the knob just unscrews, and usually the boot is connected into bracket that is scrwed into yoiur center console. You have to remove your center console to get to the boot. At least in 88-93 models
