10 inch sub in trunk

Hey, guys.

For xmas I'm getting A 10 inch sub a box an amp and installation.
I'm very happy, But.... How will it sound? Is there any breathing room from the trunk to the cabin? Or should I skip it all together?

THanks

When I had my CRX, I had put a 10 inch woofer...The key to great sound is the box. The box I had was a Pioneer manufactured. I then put a 10 inch IMPP Pioneer woofer in it. That sh!t wails..for a 10inch. In the CRX...a 10inch does the trick...I now have it installed in my Prelude...It still does it for me.

The picture below is of one of the two boxes I had...I sold this one on Ebay...

yeah, i have mine in my trunk as well- made a box to fit in the spare tire well... its not AS loud as it would be in a hatch-back car, but its good for making your music sound GOOD- not sound LOUD

use 3/4" MDF board, measure EVERYTHING and make sure you know what size box your speaker requires.
