Hair
Just wondering (and besides...we need something to talk about in this thread )
do you girls (and yes you guys may answer this too) tend to go after guys with certain hair color or style/lenght? I tend to be attracted to guys with shorter brown hair...but lately I've noticed that for some odd reason, I've been checking out guys with shaggier hair. Now I'm not talkin long hair, I'm talking like Rob Thomas shaggy type hair or the blonde dude that is on The OC. I don't know what it is about them...just cute I guess. And body hair...There was an article in one of the more recent Cosmos (it might have been Decembers I'm not sure) where they polled women about which they prefer long vs short hair, clean shaven face vs facial hair, and no chest hair vs chest hair. I didn't even need to look at the results to know which the majority would pick. Short hair, clean shaven face and no chest hair. And that's pretty much what I would pick as well. I'm not a fan of body hair at all....but I don't mind if guys have goatees.

I looove guys with spikey hair and off the wall colors but it doesnt really matter to me i've dated a blonde a brown haired guy and now my current boyfriend has black hair. My last boy friend had the dorkest hair i dont want to be mean but he should try a new hair cut once in awhile, and he had a Ton of leg hair that was kinda gross.

yeah i totally go for guys with less body hair. my bf has medium length curly hair which i guess you could kinda call shaggy but he has basically no hair on his body.

i just saw something on tv and thought ' YUCK' hairy butts thats so unnattractive. anyway i think its funny how we think hair can be gross because theres a reason for every hair on every part of our body even if we dont know it.

yah there is a purpose for each hair...but it's still disgusting to me. I was just out at the club and there was this dude that was "lurking" behind Erin for like 30 mins....and he had a button down shirt on. And I don't know why...but for some reason he felt the need to have the like top 3 unbuttoned. now this would be ok if 1) the guy were attractive and 2) he didn't have chest hair protruding out of the unbuttoned part. Then on top of the nasty chest hair sticking out he had all this gold jewelry on around his neck and whatnot I just was very turned off by that.
My friend Missy thinks that guys should shave EVERYTHING on their bodies. And I do mean everything!!!! well except for maybe the top of the head.

well here is my take on facial hair: a clean shaved face on a man makes him look more presentable. also a man with a bear inspires a bit more trust to me and most likely i would follow the advice of a man that has a beard than the advice of a man without a beard (but that's just me). I really have no oppinion on the head hair as long as it's neatly arranged not staying in every direction and looking like it can get satelite tv . as for the body hair i have no opinnion because i am not interested
now for women: less body hair the better, but for the head hair just keep it long. i don't know why but a short boish hair cut on a woman is a definte turn off for me.

i dont like facial hair much, but it can be dealt with, hair elsewhere (chest) big no! everything else just needs to be tamed |

My favorite combo is thick, long to long-ish, dark, almost black hair with blue or dark brown eyes. The body hair I'm ok with as long as he's not a "missing link" and I LOVE goatees. Oh, and he's got to be tall, at least 6' and over. I can't really explain why but short guys, even if he's drop dead gorgeous, is a REAL turn off to me. Sorry.

Here's my take on guys body hair: They're guys, they're supposed to have more body hair then women. Now given, I'm not a fan of back hair or a lot of chest hair, but you can't expect them to shave every inch of their body.
Personally, I'm attracted to guys with dark, short hair and little to no facial hair. But I really like guys with shaved heads too. That look really looks good on guys like Dave Mirra, Vin Diesel or Jason Statham (Handsome Rob from the Italian Job). Not just any guy can pull it off.

Ok....I hate this!!! Well I love long lashes, but the thing that I hate is the fact that guys could give a rat's @ss whether they have long gorgeous eye lashes. But girls will glue fake eye lashes on and paint them with mascara to make theirs look longer. Why do guys have to have the long gorgeous lashes????

That's funny, because I'm not having any luck up here in the boondocks corner of Jersey. What part of PA is York in? Can't be that bad of a drive right?

It's in southern Pa. York is about 15 min from the Pennsylvania/Maryland line.

where I come from a man is not a man until you grow some hair. if you like hairless guys date a boy. IMO. now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we should reverse the evolution chain, everything in moderation.
ohh and guys saying "look I got long eye lashes and shave my chest... blah" can we say boy george, Prince or even good ol' michael?? wow |

Yeah, they're called metrosexuals. Metrosexuals are those guys who are completely straight, but care about their appearances and spend a lot of time and money on making sure they look good. A lot of celebrity guys would be classified as metrosexuals. They are sure good to look at! I watch way too much tv!
