Megan Racing
I got a Megan Racing axle-back muffler for 100$ on ebay with free installation. The guy installed it for free. Does anyone know if this mufflers any good? I mean it rattles and hits the bottom of my bumper but the guy said its normal.... It sounds nice, not too loud not to soft. Not like the some cars which sound like crap. I dont see my bumper getting screwed but if it taps the bottom of my bumper when I choke during shifting, will it damage my bumper at all?

Yes, it can melt it
Get some longer rubber hangers for it or have the metal hangers rebent so they hang lower. Youre not getting any benefits from just an axel back unit. Until you change the B pipe, youre just making noise |

OK, I went to a local muffler shop. I told them to bend the hangar but the guys said its not possible. For hours and hours we talked and he wouldnt want to bend it, but said he had another suggestion. So I listened and he told me he was going to melt it and add new hangars for 15$, so I did it. Now my muffler looks like sh1t from the inside but from the outside you cant really tell. It looks like there is 4 hangars total. Was it really worth welding the hangars for $15? or was the guy just lazy to bend the hangars because he told me he couldnt bend it. Ill show u guys a pic. once i get my digital camera back from canon.

I just got my Hayame Gen2 catback system. The sound is a pretty nice low tone, but it's way too loud than I expected. As for HP gains, I would say 3-5 at most. The whole system is stainless steel (from piping to muffler tip)..but the canister is a little bit too small.

I have a Greddy Evo exhaust. Was 560 bucks at one of the local shops, had them install it for 50 bucks and took them about half an hour. I wish i had a garage :(
