how hard can it be ?

two days ago my speedometer stopped working. well anyway today i learned that the speedometer cable broke on the teg, a nice christmass present may i say. I was kinda worried that the part was going to run me about 200 or so but to my surprise they run only 25 at the acura dealer. Did anyone change one of these before ? i know the dash part is not that bad, but going thru the firewall and the tranny is what i am worried about

It shouldnt be too bad. I've not done it on a DA Teg but I have on an EF civic. It was really easy...

i got done with it today. it was really easy. it took me longer to replace the upper radiator hose than the cable.
