opinions on my trade for coilovers
i was hanging out at my buddys shop and one of his friends came in complaining of his crappy ride with these Skunk2 coilovers he has. Me wanting to upgrde my suspension (i have a Eibach Prokit and KYB struts) for drag purposes because the spring raes are jsut not tight enough and I get some major saggage in the rear when i laungh hard. Anyway I offered to trade the prokit for his coilovers even up and he acceped. 2 hours later we had swapped the sets and he wasnt kidding they are tight. So basically my question is have any of you guys had any experience with the Skunk2 coilovers at the track? Do you like them or do you think they are over rated? Remeber they are being used strickly for drag racing purposes and i dont care how they will ride on the street.

since its FWD......just lower it the 1" in the front and raise the back up, mess with diff heights in the rear, but you want it higher than the front so you get less squat.

They should work great... My suggestion since you arent using it for street but the front springs in back and the back springs in front.. As you probably know.. the softer spring up front will help reduce wheel hop, and youll have stiffer springs in the back to help again squat.. and Play with the hieghts since they are pretty easy to adjust
dont know if it will work well but it makes sense to me.. and If your KYBs are adjustable then I would also tighten the back up and loosen the front.

dont have any wheel hop since i have solid motor mounts. I like the way they feel. Hopefully I can get 60 foot times down in the 1.6's.
