Spring Settling times...
Hello! Can anyone tell me how long Springs usually settle? I just ordered some Eibach Pro-Kits and I have heard that it drops the car 1.3" but eventually settles down to 1.5-1.6". Any thoughts?
When the drop settles do I need to re align and adjust cambers? Thanks! |

Im not sure how long it really takes to settle.. I never really noticed any other then the spring settling on the perch right after youve installed it and put it back on the ground. Thats would just be from not having it set on the perch properly. The spring itself shouldnt drop anymore, atleast not the good ones, that would be more like spring lag.. Which is more common on cheap springs..

2-3 weeks if you've had a few too many twinkies in your lifetime.

To be honest most major spring manufactures say that there should be no spring settling.
There is normal settling from bushings and the shock mounts but here is a quote from Eibach Quote:
There should be no settling on the major brands, more than 1/2" If there is check your shocks for wear or leaky seals. |
