crankcase ventilation
My current plans are to vent my block by routing lines from the existing valve cover vent and pvc port to a catchcan and also possibly tapping 2 additional lines to the front of the valve cover if necessary. Is it safe to say that there is no way possible to return the excess oil buildup in the can to the engine like these guys with B series are doing? Am I going to be stuck draining my catch can frequently?

Run a catch can to the PCV. Seal the can (no vent), then raun it to your exhaust system. That is called scavenging system......... search it up on Honda-Tech. That is the best system IMO.
Catch-can will only fill up quick if you have a major blowby |

this post got me thinking so i did an experiment. I hooked up my boost gauge to the pre turbo intake so i could see the ammount of vacuum the turbo pulls. I found that...
from 3-4K rpm the vacuum is about 2-5" from 4.5K to redline, the vacuum is about 6-8" so i figure when the engine is above 3K rpm the pcv has vacuum sucking the gasses out. So i guess routing your pcv this way works pretty well too.

I even have vacuum under low RPM's..... I'm talkin about Idle here. I still have vacuum. Plus, if you have that bad of a blowby on idle, then there is a bigger problem.......

there's no point if you run one for the exahust because it's just fumes and it'll go out the exhaust. But if you go pre turbo you should have somthing otherwise the turbo will get gummed up fast and have all sludge and shit in it.

the catchcan is there to releave crankcase pressure, not to get the gunk out of my engine. if we could use some sort of drainback, it wouldnt be reintroduced into the IM like factory systems. it would go back into the crank case.
so improving the on the oem system by releaving more pressure and gunk thats introduced into the combustion chamber.

The only way to improve the PCV system is to place it on vacuum.... NOT open vented. I have a catchcan on mine although I use an exhaust scavenge system. The catchcan is sealed and is only there to trap moisture.

i am going to use the car for hpde and some autox use. i would suspect that after a 20 min hard session on the road course the can would prolly overflow or be close to which is what im trying to advoid.

dude there's no way you're going to fill a catchcan in 20 minutes no matter what you do. Most people it takes like a few months i think. Just try different setups and see what works best for you

Drain it back to the oil pan then. I agree tho, you'd have some major issues if you fill up that catchcan that quick.
