what's this button for?
ok i got a 94 cx hatchback, on the left side of the parking brake console there is a "on" and "off" switch. what the hell is it for? i turn it on, nothing happens, i turn it off and nothing happend again. can anyone help me. i think the person might have modifired the car who know( when i got it on the gas cap door it has a "taz" with gas container that says "jet fuel only" and it has a J&N filer sticker on the engine bay by where the filter would have been) can anyone tell me what the button is there to do? or what is is supposed to do. oh i already read the owners manual and found nothing

well I would think that the previous owner probably had some fog lights hooked up to the switch..
I could have sworn that I had seen that in a couple of rides and that's what it was for. the only other option would be to unscrew the console and lift it up to trace the wires and see if there are going to anything... Hope this might help or answer your ?..... |

i was thinking on tracing the wires but i haven't had much time on my hands. it pretty bad..i now wash my baby about once every 2 wks. (damn i am ashamed of myself)

I'd guess that it was put there for fogs or something too. Like you said, just trace it to find out for sure.
