EL Gauges question

i got some reverse gauges for my accord and i'm dying to get them in. i heard you can't wire them to your parking lights if you have an alarm b/c they'll blow when the lights flash. fact or fiction? help!

Mine flash with my alarm and have been doing so for 2+ years. No problems.

hmm, i dont have glow guages, but now it makes me wonder if the guages still flash neways......

Fiction.. I wired mine directly to the parking lights in the dash and haven't had problems for almost a year (yes I have an alarm). The trick is not buying shit ones. Before I got the ones I have now, I bought some "7 color changing" gauges on ebay and they died after a week. Yours should be fine, but stay away from the ones that use a key pad of some sort to change the colors.. that leads to nothing but problems... nothing like tearing apart your dash over and over and over and over....
