skinny neon wire stuff
you all know that wire thats skinnier than a pencil that you run in the car....well i wanna try some of it but i havent the slightest how to get it to stick or whatever....i wanna trim out my entire dash in it but do i just stick it in the creases or do i have to use some sort of adhesive?
anyone know? |

i know what your talking about. ive never had an experience with it though. try placeing it in the creases so that you dont have to use an adhesive. if that doesnt work then id imagine youd need some sort of adhesive

I've seen many people put that stuff the creases of the dash and it looks like CRAP. I imagine it can look good if done properly with adhesive and such. A friend at work is building an amp/cap box and we came up with a design where the box lid will be 3 parts with plexiglass sandwiched in the middle. The space between the plexi and wood will be just enough to run a line of the neon wire stuff. It'll look sweet.
I'd love to do that in my car, but its like 25 bucks for a package. yikes! |

well i just bought 2 packages of 5 feet for now...bought optix by street glow......and it comes with super glue....i only payed $20 a pack for it...walmart sells a cheeper brand for about $17 and it is just as bright but my friend who bought it is an idiot and just wound it around his faceplate on his HU....
