does anyone know how many lbs the stock injectors can take?
With a 255 holly fuel pump, vortech fmu..... THanks.... |

what up cLowNy!!! there's a shop down here who claims that stock honda injectors can handle way over 250 HP. as far as injectors in relations to fuel pressure, it's a 2 way deal. injectors will hold pressure. it's the flow and velocity that will be affected. injectors are like restrictor pipes. it will reach a certain point on the pressure curve, where no matter what the fuel pressure is, it will maintain the same amount of flow. this is why FMU's are very effective. FMU's will hold the fuel on the fuel rail to keep the injectors squirting plenty of fuel while boosting. the rest of the unburnt fuel goes back to the fuel tank........

Thanks for your reply.. Im in a lillte predicament.... I want to boost 1 bar but i don't have the money for new injectors.. So when JG dyno tunes my car i was pondering if i should wait for the new injectors or see how much my stock injectors will push....... I'll take your word for it... Hopefully it will be able to take 1 bar........... Thanks DawG... |

get some DSM 450 injectors for 50 bucks a set
then u need some resistors, or a resistor box off old honda this is a cheap way |

yep Xbird is right. or u can get a set of RC 370cc for around $300. shiet, with all the money u drop on that JG and SRP set-up, injectors should be an easy one to have.......u da freakin' man G!
