sub blowin up
What causes subs to blow up?
What do I have to do (maintenance wise or etc) to keep my sub working correctly and avoid the sub from blowing up. (dont have a sub yet but ordering it soon, using these as a precaution) |

Distortion is what kills subs (and any other speaker for that matter). The best thing to do is to level match your amp(s) and speaker(s). This can be done by turning the gains all the way down on the amp and then turning the volume to full on the H/U, then slowley turn the amp gains up until you hear a little distortion, then back it down a hair. This way you will not run out of amp power b4 you run out of speaker. Good Luck.
