Full synthetic oil?

It is about time for me to change my oil again, but this time I was thinking about using a full synthetic. Are there any advantages/disadvantages to this? I know synthetic oil is certainly more expensive, so it should be better somehow, but I just don't know a whole lot about oil, so any help would be great!

I suggest mobil1 full synthetic.. Its good stuff.

Synthetic doesnt break down as fast as regular oil I dont believe. Which means it protects longer. If you change it every 3000 miles you should be a great shape..They say you can go longer, but why chance it.

well if u have syntethic the oil is gonna be thinner, and it will leak thru some of the weaker gaskets. but i think it's well worth it.

Erm... yes and no. Full synthetic oil is more viscous than regular oil, giving it a good chance to leak in an engine that wouldn't leak using regular oil.

Go full synthetic, mechanics say if your motor can turn more freely that means gained performance(very little im sure). If your around cold weather during winter go 50/50, Durablend is good. During hot months go full synthetic.
