Distribution Blocks

Hey there,
I am looking into getting a distribution block and was wondering what brands are good and which are bad. Also what kind of features should a block have. Thanks

i'm assuming you want/need a distribution block because you have a multi amp system or want to run multi amps. I don't know of any companies that 'bad' blocks, i figure they all accomplish the same purpose and are almost all identical or similar. I'd just look for one that has high quality termials (proably good quality gold) and then look for prices and name brands.

Yeah I have 3 amps that are run right now just from jump from amp to amp and I wanted to clean up the install. I think I will get a block that has spots for 4 fuse just in case I need to add something later. I have seen ones with digital amp readings and was kind of wondering about them.

I bought a cheap $10 one off ebay and it works fine
Granted, I only ran 1 amp and 1 line for my alpine (direct feed) but still
Its pretty hard to mess something like a big block up

for one amp? sounds like all you need is a fuse up front and wire straight to the amp... simple. If you have more than one you get the distribution block. Add a capacitor, Yellowtop battery/s,amps, epicenter... etc.

i have one amp and i have a distribution block, for safty reasons, plus i am running 0 gauge through my car and had to run it down into 4 gauge, plus i think it looks alot cleaner with one.
