this is what a want to do, is it ok?

i wanna get a pair of lowering springs like goldline and a camber kit and plan on dropping it like 2.5 inches. Do i need shocks or will my car survive? Thanks for all replies

I'm guessing (never tried it) the shocks will last a few hundred miles. Since you're taking apart the struts anyway, why not stick some new dampers in there?

they'll last a while but not that long and unless they're in brand new condition they're sure to go fast

it will last a few months. be ready to purchase a set just to be safe. KYB-AGX is an awesome damper. check out this installation site:

i paid about $300 for a set and installed it myself. piece of cake.
