Fuel not working

When I turn the ignition to the On position, I cannot hear the fuel pump running to get to the proper pressure. It was working very well the previous day. I think it is probably a fuse, but I can't seem to locate which one it would be in my repair manual. Before I get in to checking the voltage at the pump in the trunk of my Del Sol, I want to be sure there isn't a simple way to to check it out. The maintenance manual I had said to replace fuse #2, but the fuse box under the instrument panel on the drivers side has the #2 fuse as "not used".

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
