ahhh SH*T
just checked my oil and well, it looks like i must be burning some..stupid high kms engines...make me angry!! anyways, i guess i'll just keep adding oil every now and then until mid october when i can get the engine looked at and possibly ported&polished....i hate money and vehicles

anyone any clue as to what it is? btw, i checked the oil level today when the engine was cool and it was at the VERY minimum dash and last sunday when i checked it at a warm temp it was 3/4 full

was the car leveled when you checked it ? also do u do a lot of hi rpm driving ? both of mine do that if i go above 5k rpms

uhm i do a bit of higher rpm driving, but usually only to shift if i'm racing/showing off to someone haha. But i don't just cruise around casually at over 5k

crusing i never get above 4k, i think 5k is a little high for crusing, try for a week or so just staying under that 5k region and monitor your oil level. if it still goes down then check for leaks, get under ur car and see if there is a any oil on the engine or underbody

I lose a little oil when I do the high rpm driving too. I tend to add a little in between changes.
As for the changes, make sure the car is level when you measure or it won't be consistent. b |
