"Fist Of Legend" now has competition
Ok...so for the longest time I figured Jet Li's "Fist Of Legend" was the most badass martial arts film ever made. Now I'm wondering. Tonight I watched a Thai film called "Ong-Bak". I must say, this film has stunts that would make Jackie Chan cream himself and martial arts that would make Jet Li cringe. And all from Thailand? Strange, to be certain. I mean seriously...this movie had me and my roommate, both hardened fans of kung fu and martial arts films going "oh fuck, that had to hurt" and "holy shit, that's insane" the whole time. Everyone should watch this film and bow before it's immense awesomeness.

Yes...yes you are. "Fist of Legend" is one of the best martial arts movies ever made. It shows you just how bad Jet Li can fuck up a roomful of Japanese guys. Until I watched "Ong-Bak" last night, I thought it was the best martial arts flick out there. Now I'm not so sure. Edit: You know...now that I think about it...this guy's stunt moves look a lot like Joe Eigo at www.multilevelmoves.com. They're so fluid and so crazy...it's inhuman, I tell you.

Yes...that would be the one. But since I didn't find a trailer anywhere on there, there's a quicktime trailer at http://www.apple.com/jp/quicktime/tr...ach_large.html It's all in Japanese since it's Apple's Japanese site, but you ghet the idea. Watching the trailer I remembered a friend sent me the link for the trailer months upon months ago...but I didn't make the connection because they call the movie "Mach". Whatever...there it is.
