quiet exhaust
I was wondering what people whould suggest in the way of a muffler that will increase performance, but produces little or no noise. Thanks.

well.. you could get any muffler with a silencer... you will be cutting off some of the power but you still should get a few hp.
your power comes from better airflow so having a quiet exhaust usually means constricted airflow so... either you have it loud and strong or quiet and weak. there's not much middle ground. (that i know of) |

If I'm not mistaken, the Apex'i WS is supposed to be relatively quiet. If you're looking for performance, you're probably going to be louder, and if you're not looking for performance, what's wrong with the stock can?

Brullen quiet under 3k.. Above that, it starts to sing.. But not loud, just deep.

I just got a packet of info in the mail I requested from Brullen. They look pretty nice. Doesn't Smitty have one too?

if you want a nice quiet exhaust that performs very well... get the flow master... almost looks stock but has the performance aspect of it...
