yes the h22 will fit, but its a somewhat hard swap(not real hard, but more complicated than a b series swap). Some issues with this swap are: you have to do some custom stuff to keep power steering as well as A/C; and your going to have a problem with breaking stock axles cause they'll be sitting at a weird angle; you'll have to cut a hole to pass the cables through for the cable tranny. There's more, if you search on google there should be plenty of info.
Here's a site to get you started: http://www.h22hybrid.20m.com/index.html If you wanted to stay allmotor then its a pretty good swap, but a hassle. You could spend less and be faster if you just turbocharged the motor you have. |

hmm, you'll still probably want to get aftermarket axles and i think there's a wiring kit that helps out alot with all the wiring BS. you'll also probably need a bigger radiator.

hydrolic refers to the clutch engagement... not the shift linkage..
when he said you have to cut a hole for the cables he means for the shifter not the clutch... the shifter is cable operated... it does not use normal shift linkage like civics do... Also keep in mind once you cut the tranny mount ear... you have PERMENANTLY settled on h22... there is just about no way to get a b or d back in there... w/o cutting and welding on a new mount point... Also it's a LOT of torque... too much imo.. you will end up spinning your wheels ALL the time... check this out... read EVERY WORD... if you're serious about a h22 swap... http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=362984 Oh and also remember that you will have SERIOUS issues passing emissions if they even approach tough... 1.5/6 to 2.2 is a BIG increase in displacement... and generally swap instructions say you should eliminate egr which will almost guarantee a fail on emissions... but you WILL have WAY WAY more power then if you turboed you current setup or even mildly turboed a LS.
