time to redo it.....need help
ok, my suspension is going be completely redone while my H22a is being swaped in. sence the front axle and ect is being replaced with a Gator 500WHP axle!
i figured it would be a good time to redo it. im going all out. if have to get a loan for what ever it is, or add to the one i got, i will. so im choices are Ground Control and Koni Yellows. which is what i have now. the shocks need replaced the GCs' are fine. but ill get brand new ones with a better spring rate. to lower it farther. OR TEIN. im not sure which Tein suspension to use. i have been reading up on them all. to get which has what and what they are better for. im going into Auto X. so it has to be able to with stand a lot of abuse and still last. where as my konis' did, but i got them used so they didnt make it past season 1. Which would you use? and if you choose Tein which ones?

i'd say stick with the ground controls and koni yellows. i wonder why yours blew because mine lasted 2 years with absolutely no problem.

ive been on a GC and kyb adjustable setup, and while it is good, i would switch to teins in a heartbeat. i'll look at the models, but i think the middle of the line one was what i almost bought at one point.

My suggestion...
The Konis are rebuildable.. I would look into getting them rebuilt (see if its worth the cost.) Then talk to GC about getting custom spring rates made. Or... Talk to Koni about custom valving the Yellows to match the spring rates of the upgraded Ground Control springs for even better performance and ride quality.

Are you refering to the difference between custom valving designed for the Springs, and just the stock valving?

its hard to compair them on different cars. even something like the teg having a hatch and the accord having a trunk is going to change how they handle. the koni/gc setup is nice, but if your looking to buy a whole new setup a set of teins with pillow balls would still be my choice but for the price, i'd get the koni's rebuilt
