Which wire for Tach?????
Hi all.
I've got mu Autometer guage all mounted into my car and all and I have everything operational but my hook up to the coil to actual get my read out. does anyone have a pic of the wire they tapped into at the cluster/ECU or Distributor that I can use to go by? this would be great. I have tried to decode the Haynes manual to do it but that's a waste of my time. Appreciate the info. Thanks.... |

i dont have a pic but the wire is really easy to locate... if you know where your distributor is, you'll see to set of connectors w/ wires.. you want the connector w/ 2 wires.. those wires are going to the positive and neg. of the coil.. the BLUE wire is the negative signal... tap into that (do not cut wire) and youre all set... i just did this project for my 94 dx... goodluck!!!
