Which Turbo would you get?
Which one of these would you get if you were going to get one for the first time.

well i think it all depends on what kind of car u have and what your goals are. But if i was to buy a new kit i would go with the revhard stage 2 or even the drag. Or any kit that comes with a t3/t4 turbo. Yeah that what i would get.

If it has to be a kit DRAG or Revhard. Even though the questions asks for your fist turbo id still put my own system together because most stuff you upgrade or grow out of later anyways.

Like thermal said, for a SOHC, Greddy. I also say that because my goals for turbocharging my car were to have a quick street car and wanted the turbo to spool up quickly. I looked hard at the JRSC at first because most of the driving I do is suited to something that spools fast or is linear like JRSC. I don't plan on doing a lot of engine work so I really don't plan on boosting over 200whp. If I do, I will get pistons and rods and will be set.
There are times when I had second thoughts and wished I had bought a Drag like when I was racing a V6 mustang and was up around 110mph. The Greddy falls off then whereas the Drag or larger turbo would keep boosting. I don't drive like that normally though so it's no big deal. |

As a first kit, GReddy. Very easy wawy to be introduced to the world of F.I. For furute serious boosting, DRAG G3

Since I have a SOHC, all of the turbos in the kits have T3/T4 other than Greddy and Apex-i. Their turbos are very small, so I would go custom. I ordered a Garrett T3 in 60 trim, .48 A/R turbine with a stage 3 wheel a couple days ago from ADP distributors. I will post up pics as soon as I get it!
