well these little cars are pretty damn fast! their about 300 dollars each and you gotta put more money into them if you want to make them fast and stuff...I got that honda civic first and then I bought that dodge viper...My mom just bought me a RSX and I'm in the process of painting the body...its going to be yellow with a black hood and black trimming along the lower body kit...juss thought I'd share my hobby with you guys...

the dodge viper is stock...on the civic I changed the Heatsink on the engine so the engine doesnt get overheated too quick...I changed the stock muffler to a dual chromed out muffler(its loud as shit), I changed the stock filter to a K&N filter for more air flow to the engine...I changed the suspension so the car doesn't bounce around...changed most of the plastic pieces that connect to the wheels to anodized purple aluminum so they don't break as easy and their tighter for better handling... ...I could do an "engine swap" and put a bigger engine but that'll be about 200 bucks...

when I race on a straight away the viper will beat my civic(I drive my civic and my bro drives the viper) but when we race on a course at whitestone the civic wins because its quicker so its faster on the turns and curves, the viper takes a while to pick up speed since its so bigger and heavy but its goes faster than the civic... |

So what would you say it'd cost to get a barebone setup of an 88-91 civic HB?

one day i will have one of those, i dont know much about them but from the "ENGINE SWAP" thing i can assume you have the .15 er sumthing in there as opposed from the .21?? like i said i dont know much about them, but HOW DOES THE VIPER LOSE ON THE STRAIGHTAWAY??? heh it should be smoked.

It doesn't matter what kind of car you want... they are just $20 bodies on a chassis. I'd say $250-$300 to get an OK car. Nice or bigger ones will cost you so much more. RC cars are my favorite hobby

maybe you understand wrong, a modded lighter car should beat a heavier stock car.

In the corners, but in the straight away power always prevails(SP).

Eh, no. I have a big heavy RC truck with 2 550 motors on it. Torque like crazy, but I have a super light racing stadium truck with 1 540 that kills the heavier truck. Its all about power/weight ratio.
