door handles

heyy,, i saw a car in an auto salon magazine(australian) that had no door handles ..all flushed..but said that it had richbrook engine starter buttons to open the doors..umm anyone know how the hell this is done..because without handles it looks so nice and very confusing for theives..

ohh yeah and i the buttons were'nt on the doors..it looked like it was under the side mirrors.

they usually have door poppers im not sure exactly what they are but when u hit the button usually on your key chain it makes a suckton noise and the doors pop opent or in cool weather they dont

they are electronic solenoids that pop the doors. and yes, makes it confusing for thieves, but not impossible

Usually someone seeing shaved handles will know that there is a emergency button somewhere outside the car...meaning they can get inside quite easily, ala Gone in 60 seconds.

Auto-lock makes kits for it...and you can check it out here

oh yeah...if you have shaved handles youre not allowed to run at the tracks (safety reasons).
