just saw Fearless
and wow I was blown away. I watched the bonus material about Jet Li and why this was his last martial arts film and I have so much respect for him and what he's doing and what he has done with the movie. I think its awesome that he wanted to show people the real meaning of what Wushu is, and in the same since what all traditional martial arts is about. Here's to you Jet Li

Indeed. Welcome to last year. But you're right Darin...it's incredible. True stories rarely stomp so much ass. Plus it was nice to see Jet Li play a historical figure that wasn't Wong Fei Hong.

haha well my girlfriend wasn't interested in seeing it so I never went to the theater, and I was in vermont up until...um last monday. But the movie was phenomenal to say the least. It makes me sad though that I won't get to see any more Jet Li asskickery. I knew he was fast but when the filmmakers said that they have to use film that is 6 times faster than ordinary film to capture the speed of Jet Li..I was just blown out of the water. |

Now, go see Tom Yum Goong (The Protector), if you havent seen it yet..... After that, look for Sha Po Lang...... Donnie Yen is just as quick as Jet Li....

Definitely go for SPL first, and then Fatal Contact after that.

Yeah...SPL had the better story. It didn't have as much action, but Donnie Yen is fucking lightning fast. Then again, both flicks have Wu Jing...he just stars in Fatal Contact and has a more minor role in SPL.
It's also fun to watch anything with Yuen Biao and/or Yuen Wah. Quote:
