super high flow intake manifold

Has anyone ever had any experience with any of the sheetmetal intake manifolds such as the JG, Venom, or STR manifolds. I am considering purchasing one to replace my current Skunk one. I am looking for maximum flow form about 5K on up to around 8K or so. All this is on a turbo LS.

BTW is anyone interested in the SKunk when I get rid of it

I have heard JG is damn good. As far as your old one, what type of motor is it on. I have a D16 and might be interested. Hit me up.

Its on an 97 B18B1. I plan on getting something its just that im hesitant about spending the loot until I hear some opinions from people who have it on their car. They all look like nice peices and they should make power. I have peeked inside of a few of them and to my knowledge they all have velocity stacks to improve flow. Not just the larger plentum and shorter runners. If anyone has ever looked at the airbox on a Kawaski Ninja of a GSX-R it will look identical to the set up in one of these manifolds. Im still going to do a little more research and see what i can find. I better do it quick because rumor is that STR is going out of business soon.

Did you notice an improvement with the manifold? If so, and the price is right, consider it sold!!

Yes you will notice an improvement on the top end. I never had a before and after dyno done but it is noticably larger than the stock one. I had the manifold on for less than 1K miles. I dont drive the car much (only 7K in 2 years). Wookie ill give you a PM and we can talk.

I seen those Venom ones, But i dont know they seem a little crappy to me for some reason? To me i think the only reason why they have a Intake manifold on there product line is for the sake of having a Intake Manifold....

Yeah i sort of felt that way to but it has got to be better than a stock style intake. I really want the JG but i cant find info on it anywhere.
