what to do, what to do. need help please
hello all. i have a '91 crx and i have put countless amounts of money and time into the exterior. things include closed in rear side and rear windshields, "scissor" door modification, custom body kit, kameleon paint, etc. as you can tell, i'm serious about the car's appearance. now that the outside is done, i want to get into the powerplant. this is an area where i have some, but little knowledge. i'm lookin' for as much power as i can get. also, if you have any advice on a nice system setup, that would be great. i have an old kenwood system (not too bad, 750watt), but it's time to put out with the old and in with the new. something that pleases the eye, but something that can beat the pants off the other guy. any advice will be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I personally would look at the B16 with a turbo.. That would give you plenty of power.. There is a link in the CRX forum for a step by step install for this swap. You may want to check it out, if you havent already

From the exterior modifications you've performed, I'm assuming that money is not a huge concern (must be nice). I'd actually go with a B18C. Turbo that. With a B18C, 8 psi, and good tuning- 250 whp. Now build the bottom end, port and polish the head, turn up the boost, and tune it some more. Sky's the limit.
As for the stereo system, go start a thread in the stereo forum. We'll help you out. |
