what color do i paint my 88 lude?

my cars paint is ok, but last week a branch fell out of a tree and put a couple of big dints in my hood. I have takin the hood off and pulled the dints and filled them in, so now i need to repaint the car. I am planing to do it myself (with the help of my dad). and i THINK?? we can do it without messing it up. But after i sell some wheels I will have the $$ to have it painted at like maco..... And I have seen some maco job sthat wernt all that good...but would I be better off doing all the prep work myself and taking it to them??? also what color?? it is black now and i dont like it cuz it shows to many dints. so i was thinkin red with a flat black hood...tell me what u think... thanks!

do not paint the hood black. that will look horribly ricy. i'd say either a high gloss black or maybe blue... i dunno.

For an '88 Prelude, I don't think EBP would look that good. I'd go with a glossy black probably.

I would repaint it black but there are some lil dints on it, and black really shows that stuff, and thats why i am thinkin like electron blue. Civicgrl99 if you could get the code that would be awesome!
thanks

ive seen some electric blue ludes and i think i like em better black. If you are gonna have a black hood make it be a carbon fiber one if it has to be black. And i would say get that paint where its only painted with one coat and you can still see the carbon fiber under the paint.
